The San Antonio Chef Cooperatives and Edible San Antonio are throwing a party at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, with fabulous food, amazing cocktails, beer and great ambiance in the UTSA district! And it's all for a great cause ... the Twenty-First San Antonio Film Festival! Be there or be square!

Come celebrate 21 years of Cinema Arts with SAFILM. From the beginning, the goal was to create a nationally known platform for independent filmmakers as well as an educational program for local artists. As the annual festival season approaches, we ask film lovers to help SAFILM keep independent cinema arts alive in our community!

 

The Chef Cooperatives and Edible San Antonio are hosting the kick-off for the 21st season of The San Antonio Film Festival, along with Ole Smoky Tennesee Whiskey MoonshineAlamo Beer Company and Kuhlman Wine Cellars. Join us as Culinary meets Cinema Arts on Saturday, April 4, 2015 with food stations and craft cocktail bars and more than a dozen of San Antonio’s best chefs and most talented mixologists. Have a great time for a great cause and toast to SAFILM’s 21st anniversary of The San Antonio Film Festival!

 

Cocktails and food service start at 7 p.m. and the party and music will carry on until 10 p.m. Don’t miss this incredible event and the chance to enjoy the most creative cocktails and cuisine in San Antonio plus Beer & delicious pairings from the award winning Winery.

Our city continues to grow, and with your help, we can take independent cinema arts in San Antonio to the next level!


MUSICAL STYLINGS FROM: 
DJ Smartypants is playing a mix of classic 1960s soul, surf, garage and spy movie soundtracks.


Come enjoy the unique blends of funk and R&B with the trio known as Parallelephants.

Silent Auction
We are collecting an amazing array of donations for unique experiences and items for this event to help raise funds and for a little extra fun! So far we have two tickets to Tango of the Vines in November and a rare "Blood In, Blood Out" movie poster personally signed by movie star Jesse Borrego​ & original art from artist like LA David, Framed print from Robert Tatum, print donated by Gallista Gallery owner and artist Joe Lopez + a super cool rocking electric Guitar donated from Sam Ash.
